PhantomBigStu
Got this in Xmas 2018 when the new model shop opened round here for £7.99. Finally have a GB to enter it in. Really hope the decals aren’t useless like the last mistercraft I built Edited September 5, 2021 by PhantomBigStu
Foxbat
I hope they're OK too, the M2 isn't a common version and the Peruvian decals caught my eye. Andy
PlaStix
Hi Stu. Great to have you here in this GB. And I'm hoping the decals are okay too! Kind regards, Stix
PhantomBigStu
Had a few minutes spare before the Turkey Italy game last night so assembled the sukhoi, big gap in the top of nose too fill with pasticard and scratch some up doors Edited June 12, 2021 by PhantomBigStu
PlaStix
Hi Stu. Good to see this underway but slightly annoying about the gap. Kind regards, Stix
PhantomBigStu
Have done some work making the gear doors out of plastic card etc, I'm going to be short of free time for the foreseeable future, so I'm going to call this one off. Spits will definitely be done, sitting in draw waiting final varnish work, and the b-58 is not fa off being decal ready, just a final sanding session around the pit. Maybe though I could squeeze a quick build kit instead....revell bf109f, new zvezda hurricane iic, smer p-40k, hasegawa p-40e, airfix jet provost.....hmm edit: hurricanes off the table, postage takes in over the to..... PlaStix
Hi Stu. I am sorry to hear this one isn't going to make it to our finish line but quite understanably. Thank you for the attempt - maybe it can be finished when you have more time. Kind regards, Stix
PhantomBigStu
Was a bit silly of me to enter it given my circumstances instead of something much simpler.....still sure I can squeeze one of the simple kits I listed in its stead

PhantomBigStu
Decal ready and about to get the first coats of Matt. Will be in the gallery at some point between now and midnight Sunday Edited September 3, 2021 by PhantomBigStu
PhantomBigStu
Cut it fine, decided to scratch the elevator horn balances, which fell off to be lost by a the carpet monster when Matt varnish was added twice, leaving me with tricky glue related paint issue to correct where they joined the wings, took some time to correct with drying times, but made it just.
PlaStix
Hi Stu. Very well done on getting your final build into the Gallery - especially with the final stage proving a little tricky!! It looks great! Thank you very much for taking part in this GB. Kind regards, Stix
