Hi all

Some progress has occurred although I have been waylaid recently with a sickness bug,  very annoying. Still feeling better now and back at the bench.

Martlet DSG coats applied, just need to add a lightened post shade and the the EDSG can go on

Avenger DSG started.

The Sea Gladiator is progressing a bit with the lower wing going on with the windscreen and rear canopy section  added and painted. Undercarriage added, what a great fit and this kit is lovely.

Ammendments underway to the arrestor hook area on the lower fuselage

Thanks for looking in

They look great Chris. Glad to hear you're on the mend! Nice to see you doing another of those Airfix martlets, it's a great kit. How has the sword come together? That one has been taunting me from the stash for a while now.

The Gladiator really looks fantastic. All that engine work is particularly nice.

Thanks Andy, very kind, pleased to be over that bug. The Martlet is a great little kit and thefit is superb. The Avenger has gone together very well really and has been an enjoyable build, which is great a I have the AS version in the stash too.

Very chuffed with the Sea Gladiator,  the AIMS engine is a piece of art and a great model in itself.

Thanks fella, hope you're well.

Keith

Thanks Keith, mot sure what's happening this year had urinry infection,  various colds and now a bug 🙄 pleased with all the models though, managed to start the underside paint on the Gladiator tonight, then got distracted with a little Airfix Cromwell😃

Thanks fella

Wow! That was a catch up. The Sea Gladiator looks like a 1:1 scale restoration more than a kit - wonderful. Nice to see the Martlet and Avenger coming along in TSS as well.

The 914 sounds like a meaty project too! Busy summer ahead :)

Adrian

Thanks Adrian,  very kind, pleased with the 72nd scale aircraft, I have wanted an Avenger for a while and happy to nearly have one in the display.  The Sea Gladiator is a fantastic kit and is a joy to put together so far.

Really excited to finally be getting a 914, feel like a kid at Christmas,  it is a slightly Ratty, but solid car and am looking forward to doing some bits and pieces to make it nice again.

Thanks Mark, pleased with the builds, especially now paint is being applied.

Hmm quite fancy a Spitfire build, been looking at the Spitfire stash looking at the Eduard and various other kits and might have to go big and do a couple of 32nd kits, a Mk.IX  and  Mk.XIV using the more recent Revell kits.  Will have a think.

Thanks Mike, really pleased with the Sea Gladiator, started painting it last night so might be able to get some more paint on tonight.  The ICM Gladiator kits are fantastic and fit together beautifully.

Thanks guys

I always sit a bit further on my seat when you bring a model to paint stage, imagine how over-balanced I am at you bringing three of them to paint at the same time!

Thanks CC, they are great little kits the two 72nd ones and trying to paint them pretty much in parallel.   The Sea Gladiator is wonderful, a real joy to put together.  Feeling a lot better now thank you.

Thanks Mark😄, I am really enjoying these three and the little Cromwell tank too, I had better hold off on the Spitfires as don't want you to fall off your seat😉

I always try to have a few on the go as when painting I can carry on whilst waiting for paint to go off sufficiently to allow the next coat.

Thanks guys
