Not been invited for a flu jab yet, hopefully will be soon ? Good to hear they are being done, I am sure they will help keep them less severe 🤞 Chris
bigbadbadge
Hi all Radiators on and a bout of fill, sand, repeat and now they are fettled. Just need to scribe the panel lines on those bits. I have added some Aluminium paint to the fold section underfuselage and Undercarriage bays. I am holding back a bit incase of a colour confirmation in the meantime, and will then add the rest of the structure under the rear section Getting there Thanks for looking in Chris
2996 Victor
Lovely work there, Chris, the Firefly is really coming along! Have to say, though, that I think those wheels may be trifle overscale, and I can't for the life of me work out where the matchboard sides/droplights/duckets fit, but that's probably just me..... Cheers, Mark 1

Cheers, Mark Thanks Mark, pleased with the look of the Firefly, just got to describe the radiator flaps in and all should be ready for some paint hopefully. Yes I wanted some bush wheels for this one😉 and want to do a Ffestiniog passenger conversion to😄 The wheels are from a 35th scale Audtin K3 truck and the carriage is another Narrow gauge coach in 009(I promise to start some railway threads). There is also a VW fan housing I am converting from the later style to a the earlier 30 HP type for a build if my mate's VW camper I am just starting too. I would never have identified the VW fan housing, or the Austin wheels for that matter! The coach sides/ends have a slightly American look to them ATM, a bit like the Denver & Rio Grande 3ft gauge Drovers' Cabooses so I wasn't sure, but Ffestiniog makes perfect sense! Mark Thanks Mark, got a few projects on the go, thought I would make a replica of my mates 57 splitty bus in time for is 50th birthday. Sorting with the engine and tinware then IRS conversion etc if I can get that sorted got a good chance of doing a good job on the bus.
