bigbadbadge Posted December 31, 2023 Author Posted December 31, 2023 I know it's not an FAA build but I showed the cockpit for this Spitfire earlier in the thread so just finally got it over the line in time for the end of the year and so can go into the year book. Quite pleased with it slthough a bit of a rush to finish. This is a Mk.II Spitfire made from the Airfix Mk.1, with the addition of the cofman starter blister, blunt spinner and prop. I uses the seat in hhe conversion as much better than the kit one and also the control column. Spitfire Mk.IIa P8522 RF-W of 303 (Polish)Sqn RAF Northolt in June/July 1941. Thanks for looking in Hope you all have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year, best modelling wishes for 2024 Chris 19

Johnson Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Great stuff Chris. This is shaping up to be one of your best. Your mastery of brush painting is amazing, you get results that I can only get (near) with an airbrush. Cheers, Charlie 2 1

I have seen your paintwork it's fantastic , I sometimes wish I airbrushed to be able to achieve some great effects, but the masking puts me off😄 Thanks Chris 1
