Really beautiful work, as usual. Paint tone and weathering, and the neat work on the plastic. Masterful.

Always inspiring... although it's hot and humid here and I think I cooked my brain today 😛 so not sure I should touch anything sharp 😜

One word again Chris - STUNNING....!!

Keith

Thanks Keith,  I am itching to get the engine and cowling on, but better finish of the rest of it first. Nearly there now.

I have actually started building a vehicle too.  One of the lovely Airfix Austin K3 trucks.  No WIP but may add the occasional photo to this thread😉

Thanks David, very kind, very pleased with the Sea Gladiator.

Hope it cools down for you, in case of an emergency,  each an ice lolly or ice cream quickly and the Brain freeze will put you back to normal in no time😉

It is hot here and humid too at the mo, I think we are due for a storm this week which will clear the air

Just noticed how good the colour of the exhaust collector looks - apologies if I missed you saying, but how did you paint it?

Thanks Keith for agreeing with the gentleman above agreeing, I like that😄

I have only painted it Humbrol 98 at the moment I have some effects to add using some AK True Metal acrylic pastes, love that stuff,  it is wonderful for collector rings . Just getting more added to the cockpit doors at mo, so might add some effects in a bit.

Thanks fella

Hi all

Collector ring gone over with some copper AK true metal pastes and steel on the extreme front of the collector ring.

It doesn't look too bad although I HD to highlight the front of yhecring with some Aluminium to highlight it a bit.

Thanks Roger, it was a bit bright initially, so had to tone it down with some smoke weathering powders.  Will have a look to see what it looks like in daylight 😬
