Josecolme
Hi, I'm going to attempt to convert a Hasegawa L1011-200 to a -500. I can't seem to find any specific info on the fuselage lengths besides that it was shortened 4.3m. No comparative pictures on the wingtip extension. I know somebody in some forum had done it and posted lots of pictures of the process but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
Skodadriver
According to Airlife's Airliners Vol 2, the reduction was 8'4" (2.5m) ahead of the wing and 5'2" (1.6m) aft. Sorry I can't help with the wings and I'm afraid I don't remember a Tristar 500 conversion on Brtimodeller. Dave G
