mbdesignart
My most recent build, Tamya's 1/24 Lotus Seven converted to a Caterham Prisoner edition with a twist. Using the latest Transkit from Motobitz and reference from the book by Chris Rees I have built my interpretation of this car, fitted with cycle wings as opposed to the wings of the kit/original. The green is Tamiya LP IJN Racing Green 😉 with Pearl Clear, Yellow Tamiya TS97 Pearl. The last photo includes an earlier build of the Moke from the TV show.
keefr22
Very nicely done Mark - I like the Japanese Navy paint! Â That transkit looks really good, much prefer the cycle wings to the ones in the Tamiya kit. Â Keith
Marco F.
Yep, the 7 looks fantastic. The chrome sticker for the rear wings are great. I was very surprised to find them when I opened my box of the transkit And of course the colour scheme real classic Marco F
Toftdale
Looks fantastic in every detail.  But the standout bits have to be bonnet and prisoner alloys. I only hope mine comes out this well when I build it - Andy
Spiny
I'd have to agree that it looks good with the cycle wings. Very nice build which is a good advert for the transkit.

dnl42
I love them both!  That's one of my favorite series. Hm, I need to watch it again.
Pete in Lincs
I used to watch the show when babysitting for my Aunt & Uncle on their, wait for it, Colour Telly! The model looks great and so does the Moke. I think I read somewhere that they used at least three cars. They apparently used to 'borrow' whatever they could from the factory. If only I could figure out what the series was about I'd be a happier man.

Eric Mc
Very nice - although as you can see from my avatar, I'm a flared wings kind of guy.

Apparently, in an interview, Patrick McGoohan , who was behind 'The Prisoner' said that they hadn't a clue what was going on either, and that the end was cobbled together as a conclusion because the studio decided to can it.. How true that is, I don't know. Â Cheers, Alan. 1

Anteater
Look great does that, Mark.  Regarding The Prisoner, I've always considered it to be a guide to how to conduct myself in wider society.
Natter
That is a really lovely model, but... flared wings; every time.

Thanks, it's a good job we are still allowed to have a choice 😉 We could all end up just building the same model of a bicycle 😬 1

malpaso
According to the Lotus 7 register website, to model one of the KAR120Cs you would need to swap the front brakes for the drum set up! Lovely model of a Caterham 7 by the way!
