According to Wiki, one journalist wrote after Ford's premiere showing:

I dreamed I was an angel

And with the angels soared

But I was simply touring

The heavens in a Ford.

 

But Charles Lindbergh called the Flivver the worst airplane he had flown. The prototype later crashed in the Atlantic due to fuel starvation, killing the pilot. He had forgotten that he'd plugged the fuel cap ventholes against moisture the previous evening, using toothpicks.

Thanks Joachim, really kind of you.  What a wonderful rhyme from the journalist, I like that.   What a shame he forgot about the toothpicks, incredible how something like  that could bring the aircraft down.  Very sad.

Thank you very much for your kind compliments,  I really enjoyed the kit and loved painting the scheme.   I find the brush painting very therapeutic.
