Thanks Roger,..... yeah I wanted to do my friend Andy proud,...... plus I`m interested in RAF & Commonwealth aeroplanes.

I love both 2, unusual paint scheme and very accurate !!

Lovely work on both with restrained weathering.

 

The comments about long hours & bored crew brought to mind a signal sent from (I think) a Catalina. "Enemy sighted. Inform next of kin."

Thanks Pete,.... yeah I can imagine a radio message like that,..... sounds like one sent from a Canadian Catalina crew from Ceylon when it spotted the Japanese fleet approaching,..... they were shot down by Zero`s.
