I have been a long time lurker on this fantastic forum and finally decided to sign up and join you all! I have been building model kits for the last 30 years, everything from tanks to planes to Warhammer models, all kinds of scales. Although I'm originally from London, England, I moved here to the USA about 8 years ago, a move which regrettably meant I had to leave all of my models and gear behind. (years of kits, paint and finished models) Starting again from scratch, I have once again managed to amass a large collection of gubbins and am hoping to post a few of my completed models and dioramas for your inspection! One day, I would really like to try and post a build from start to finish....working on that soon maybe!

I have found myself coming to this forum over the years again and again for inspiration and knowledge (I'm always learning, no matter how long I have been doing this hobby!) and have found it really is one of the most positive and encouraging forums for model makers.

Hopefully have some good pictures of my builds to post soon, here's little taster from something I was building during lockdown, I think I might need to re-photograph a lot of my stuff!spacer.png

Welcome to the forum from the high desert plains of New Mexico. Great looking diorama. Not my subject but has tons of detail. I am mainly 1/48th scale aircraft and have dove into armor a number of times. Purchasing 1/48th scale armor when available for future diorama's. Again Welcome

All The Best,

Cheers all! I find myself making all the things! One week it's 1/48 scale aircraft, then 1/35 scale tanks/dioramas, but then I get all warm and fuzzy thinking about a nice, straightforward 1/72 scale aircraft build (I started in this hobby many years ago as a kid building 1/72 scale Matchbox and Airfix kits, like so many others, the nostalgia factor is strong with this scale). Right now I'm in the middle of a nightmare 1/48 Top Gun Tomcat build (so much filler and sanding!), but I think after that i'm going to begin the long awaited 1/72 Migs displayed on a corkboard (like moths!) project Meanwhile....an unbuilt 1/35 scale Panzer Kampfwagen IV looks at me sadly from the shelf! If there's one thing I need it's more time! Hopefully get some more photos up soon of some finished builds, Like I say though, I really need to sit down and photograph them properly!
