PeterB Posted May 9, 2021 Author Share Posted May 9, 2021 No sooner had I finished the above post than the sun came out - even though it was trying to rain! So here it is with the later SM.79 which began to replace it in 1937. The 79 had a very similar sort of contruction but as it was not a Bomber/Transport it had less windows. With the more powerful Alpha Romeo Engines (870 HP compared with 700HP), and retractable undercarriage it was somewhat faster. And here is a final shot. Some of the painting has been a little tedious and I have used a complete tin of Colourcoats "Doped Linen" paint on it, but I have enjoyed it.
