Harold55
This was posted in the WWI discussion thread by RichieW so I have to give him credit for the scoop but I thought it would be nice to get it on this thread. Copper State Model posted on their facebook page on April 2nd that they are to release a 1/32 Bristol Scout in 2021. Below is a link to their posting (should not need to be a FB member to see it). https://m.facebook.com/copperstatemodels/posts/2720441618244580 3
Homebee
Thanks Harold. Source: https://www.facebook.com/copperstatemodels/posts/2953353438286729 Quote Like we wrote yesterday here are our plans for 2021 and 2022 (partly) First of all Krupp-Schuman model 1899 w/57mm was a 1st April check, not a joke but only an idea, and it may be soon you will be able to see how this joke made it into a real plastic one. It should be out in about 9 months or so. Anyway, first we need to release Russo-Balt Armoured car, this one we mentioned and it is on its way. We are planning to release several 1/32 models and those would be Caudron G.III and the next one Bristol Scout (an important machine). Sopwith Baby is on the bench but will be out in 2022 and not in 2021 Probably between them, we will roll out 1/35 Lancia 1ZM 1930s-40s And we have decided to try 1/72 scale and the first one to hit the market will be Lancia 1ZM, which should be ready no later than SEP 2021 The next big nation in 1/35 will be France, with its first Renault 1914 Armoured car About Garford Armoured Monster (Truck), last year we received a full set of factory drawings, and this event forced us to redesign the 3d model that we finished already into a new accurate Garford Putilov Armoured car, all works should be finished by the end of 2021 In the meantime we are working on another beast, a rather big (for us) Erhard Armoured truck, this is a rather interested and important project, one of the most known WWI German Armoured cars that should be done in plastic for sure Here is a sums-up with the kit numbers 1/35 Line 35007 Italian Armoured Car 1ZM WW2 service 35008 Garford Putilov Armoured Truck 35009 Erhard Armoured truck 35010 Krupp-Schuman Armoured mobile guns, model 1899 w/57mm 35011 Italian Armoured Car 1Z (twin turret) 35012 Renault 1914 Armoured Car 35013 35014 35015 Kings USMC Armoured Car 35017 35018 Fiat-Terni Tripoli 1/32 Line 32006 Caudron G.III 32007 Bristol Scout 32008 Sopwith Baby 1/72 line 72001 - Italian Armoured Car 1ZM 72002 - 253253 V.P. This project would not have been possible without the support and guidance of David Bremner, who kindly agreed to help us in the development of such an important machine, a fighter that became the prototype for many successful fighters of the Great War and the very name Scout became synonymous with the special purpose fighting machine - fighter. Mr Bremner built his unique replica in his grandfather's footsteps, and we wanted to pay tribute to Mr Bremner's Grandfather and offer his machine 1264 as one of our marking options. David shared many historical drawings and his experience, which also resulted in the release of a wonderful book - Bristol Scout: Rebuilding Grandad's Aircraft We hope to discuss the final version of this model with David to avoid any inaccuracies in like a week or so. Yes, these are not the final renders of the future model. Later we will share our thoughts about what will be offered in the pre-order version together with David. If everything goes according to plan, the model w be released this year. V.P. 9

But now it is time for 1/32 lovers, so with this message, we are opening a pre-order for our Bristol Scout C, which for the first time will be limited. https://www.copperstatemodels.com/page/product_info/331/ The reason is very simple. Our choice for the next 1/32 model was inspired by David Bremner who with friends built an airworthy replica of Type C Bristol Scout, serial no. 1264, in which his Grandfather fought in WWI, including some original parts. This Bristol Scout was made using original factory drawings and David shared these materials with us to create the very accurate 3d model which we are now proudly presenting today. David regularly displays 1264 at airshows in the UK and elsewhere. The original fabric was fitted in 2014 and was used when David was able to fly 1264 from the exact spot his grandfather flew from exactly 100 years later. After four years, degradation from UV and castor oil from the engine required its replacement. This fabric was made and fitted exactly like the original, and David has shared some of that linen with us which will be included in the pre-ordered kits. Pre-order version will include - High-quality Cartograf decals - 111 high-quality injection moulded plastic parts - Two versions of the Lewis MG mount and bombs - 5 photo-etched metal detail parts - Full rigging diagram - Highly detailed Gnome Lambda 80 HP and Le Rhone 80 HP engine (only for Pre-order version) - An original piece of fabric (size A6) from David Bremner`s Bristol Scout C Pre-order period - 15 DEC 2022, we are planning to receive plastic FEB/MAR 2023 V.P. 3
JohnT
I have been on their site and tried to complete a pre order but the site just seem to get me so far and no further. Might drop them a line to take the easy way out and pre order through Hannants Anyone had success in ordering direct? I have bought off them before with no problems but not pre-ordered. Kagemusha
I pre-ordered one last night, not sure if the pre-order period was just one day, yesterday. Just tried on my phone, and it doesn't recognise the United Kingdom, placed the order on my laptop.

Admiral Puff
Wasn't going to get one, since the AFC didn't operate any - then I saw C1264, Francis Donald Holden Bremner. Now Mum's maiden name was, and my middle name is, Bremner, so he was probably some sort of relly - a cousin to the Xth remove, most likely (there aren't all that many of us). That changes things a bit ...
