JJ2016
Hi Britmodellers, hope you've all been well..... Here's the latest project, Italeri's 1:12 scale F-104 cockpit. I was tipped off on this one after doing the F-16 cockpit and couldn't wait to get into it ! The kit is really cool, lots of great decals and smaller bits to add to the detail. There are some issues with the instruction's paint scheme and also the set belt instructions but nothing to cause any bother. I remember making a 1:72 F--104 kit a long time ago that had some ground crew carrying a sidewinder so to follow this I'll be making a 1:48 Kinetic kit which looks pretty cool.
JJ2016
Used a clear orange on the back of the radar screen..... Painting the smaller controls on the sprue... One of the pedals hinge broke so I improvised... Instruments done, and now for the seat And now the seat belts, I've shown the correct belts with the instruction section for reference...
Jb65rams
Looking good. I built this kit a number of years ago, it was a most fun, enjoyable build. Hoping Italeri reissue the F-16, been looking but seem to go for silly money on a well know auction site.
JJ2016
And now for the helmet.... Well all done then !! A few hiccups on the way but as the old saying goes "close enough for government work"..... Hope you liked it, RFI is here: Thanks for checking it out. Cheers JJ Edited April 25, 2021 by JJ2016
