theplasticsurgeon
This is therapy after my most recent builds. Injection kit, of something that flies - I've not built anything like that since the end of March (2021)🤣. This Revell 1/72 Me262A, bought from Andy Pack Models in 2000, for the sum of £3. Here the parts, very similar to the Revell Me262s that I built during the Interceptors GB. And the instructions and decals, all the same scheme, so no decision about which option yet.

theplasticsurgeon
An afternoon of modelling: First the cockpit. Then assembled into the fuselage, and wings being prepared. Wings, fuselage and tailplanes fitted. and the engines. The model is ballasted around the nose-gear compartment,
stevehnz
Looking good Tim, you're really powering along with this, that'd be about 2 months for me just now. Steve.
Brad
Nice work, they are good little kits, it's a shame Revell hasn't reissued them yet.
theplasticsurgeon
I've just looked this kit up on Scalemates. Only issued to once - when I bought mine. Which is a surprise, as it's a gem. I built 2 other Me262s on the Interceptors GB. A really interesting feature is this version, is 4 oval shaped slivers of plastic to fill the cannon apertures in the nose.  I was surprised they didn't just say filler! Different part for the nose underside, with camera windows, then bulges added where the cameras needed more space that available in the fighter nose.
theplasticsurgeon
Canopy and bulges fitted, after dealing with the seams. Then airbrushed Hunbrol 247 Hellblau.

Parabat
Looking good, those camera bulges add another dimension of menace to it.

theplasticsurgeon
Undercarriage fitted, and camera windows. I'd forgotten to add, this build is sans-pilot - 'cos he would definitely be armed. Packing a Luger in his pocket!
