Edwardii
Hi, having a go at my fits diorama, simple grass to begin with for WWII fighters but also one with some runway on. My questions is are these suitable for a base?
Richard E
That looks like an artist's canvas ? It might work but you may find you get a better result using a photo frame or picture frame or a small MDF sheet/offcut which gives you a more solid base to work on. Muchmirth
Me, personally, I wouldn't, don't think it will be tough enough. You might be better with scrap wood or as Richard e says a picture frame. Their not dear as I have two built on pond shop frames which are fine plus you can get scrp off cuts of MDF and the alike from homebase/b&q. Something more rigid. Old chopping board even? 73north
I highly recommend for grass , Green-line Grass and a wooden surround base you can fill with modelling clay
