Popular Post viperchief
Hi all! Rather than go for the usual blue Corsair, I decided to do something a bit different. Here is my FG-1D in El Salvadoran markings. I used PE seat belts, Aztec decals, and MRP paint (camo painted freehand with a Badger Sotar 20/20). Thanks for looking! dogsbody
Wow! Now that is a totally well-done kit! Those photos are so clear and close, it could easily pass for a much larger scale. Chris

SteveMc
Just superb. I had to double check it's 1/72. Fantastic work on the painting and weathering, especially the camo.

albymoore
Nice work, especially on that camouflage scheme! I love seeing seeing mainstream subjects finished in not-so-mainstream colors and markings. Cheers, Albert
RidgeRunner
Very nice, Rich, and exactly what gets me smiling! I have exactly this set of bits, plus a resin dropped flaps set, set aside for a build one day. Martin

aerotechi
Now that is a colour scheme and operator I have never seen before and I have to say it looks great. The pics as said above do make it look bigger than it is. I have just acquired the 1:32 scale version fancy taking the pics for me and making it look 1:2 scale? 😬
Sky Keg
That`s a great idea Rich. It`s nice to see a Corsair out of it`s usual “blue uniform”. Mike

Alan P
That's a brilliant build. Like others I couldn't believe the scale, and your freehand camo just hits this out of the park - to maintain such consistency of finish on such a small canvas is really impressive! Really well done sir 👏👏👏
