Southero72
Hello everybody. I have the pleasure of presenting myself in your forum, I am starting to assemble a 1:35 italeri british crusader mk1 tank (unfortunately I still cannot accompany photos of what I have advanced) but it is going quite well so far (and finishing with the little that I have left of extra thin cement tamiya green cap ...) I was wondering if anyone has any information about the interior of the tower, to give it some life ... for now I am already doing something with the periscope! Best regards, and let's continue to take care of ourselves
Peter Browne
Hi Southero72, welcome to the forum! I believe the interiors of British tanks were painted in a metallic aluminium/silver colour with a bluish hue up until 1939, then painted white (a subdued white verging on pale cream as it was then) from 1940 due to a shortage of aluminium. This may have reverted to the metallic finish later in the war.
