Not too long ago two Apaches (Outlaw1 & 2) passed overhead REME Barracks Brompton managed to catch one great sound shame they weren't closer to each other

Had 2 Apaches fly over York, followed an hour later by a Puma, and later still by a Chinook.

Had a couple of F-15C's from Lakenheath buzzing about Somerset yesterday, and the usual Merlin and Wildcat traffic from Yeovilton, but the best fly overs this week have been the International Space Station- saw it 3 times this week, great visibility and almost directly overhead tonight.

Chinook HC.6 ZH899 'Titan 41' just passed heading north-west at a couple of thousand feet.     Had been on Flight Radar heading north along the Northumberland/West Lothian coast shortly before but track stopped passing offshore of  Leuchars.

Voyager ZZ336 and Typhoon ZK304 just flew over noisily, heading east in formation, out over the coast according to ADSB.

Yep, heard the Typhoon coming out of Conz over Sleaford way on it's way out, the track on ADSB is very strange, alles uber der platz as we used to say.

QRA called out on a Sunday night,  somebody is being cheeky somewhere.

Were they doing a night refuelling exercise? The Voyager went round and round for a while with nothing else showing.

A flight from Gatwick to Belfast had some sort of security alert just about before the time Teuchter heard the jets

Flight was at about 21.30 plus

Could a QRA have been up to escort that flight?

PS. I heard multiple jets at about 22.00 last night which is unusual as Belfast City doesn't allow late night flights

If we take 2 + 2 = 6

1. A 'security incident' on flight from Gatwick to Belfast.* No-one is saying what it was but the air crew locked themselves in the flight deck

Many police boarded aeroplane in Belfast searching for someone/thing

2. Perhaps during the flight the aircrew had called in an emergency

3. QRA is scrambled and stooges around in case its needed.  Attended by Voyager for IFR

4. Emergency scaled down

5. Typhoon and Voyager return home

Passengers told not to use mobile phones indicates possibly a bomb threat

I was always told not use mobile phone or electronic cameras near terrorist bombs as the electrical emissions could set them off

The Typhoon came out of Conz, messed about for a while, then went over to Shropshire for a while, which @2200hrs would have fitted in,

came back to the Midlands, went North Sheffield way, came back down to the Midland then went East over to the AAR area off coast between the

Humber/Wash alongside the A330 Voyager.  They stayed in a race track pattern for a good while then went home.  All very odd.

This weekend is great for flying teams and other aircraft with the Huntington Beach Airshow. Living near the Los Alamitos base, we're seeing Thunderbirds and Blue Angels taking off and landing in formation, as well as V-22s, F-35s, and others.

Looks like commercial teams are flying out of Long Beach.

Yesterday I saw a pair of Pumas heading east. It’s been so long since I last saw one that it took me a little while to work out what I was looking at.

Today I saw an osprey and a red kite having a bit of an aerial barney. It’s the first time I have seen an osprey, so was well pleased.

Today saw 15 SJ F-15Es transit the South East on their trip to Larissa/Middle East.

3 lots each in tow with a kc-135 per chance this morning?…explains why they were so loud…didn’t see them mind in the sun glare but saw the tankers coming on the radar
