Are you going to make up a vacum formed nose for this girl? If you kept the sawn off cap you can plunge mould acetate sheet and keep at it till you get something useable. I seem to remember one of the cameraman could fit very well in the rear gunner's position as he had lost both legs in an accident. Lots of failed attempts using different clear plastics. Will have another go this evening. Airfix B-25J_Camera_Ship_wip_14 by Dermot Moriarty, on Flickr So after about eight or nine attempts, burnt plastic (and fingers) and some swearing, I think I finally have something useable.. Airfix B-25J_Camera_Ship_wip_13 by Dermot Moriarty, on Flickr I also realised there are two roof windows in the nose but couldn't be bothered drilling those out now. Football antenna & wing pitot not fitted at time of photos Top observation dome is too small in height compared with the real thing...it was the best I could manage. Kristal Klear still drying in the wing lights. I'm not sure how I feel about this one - I like that I gave it a shot and tried a paint scheme that was way outside my comfort zone. But the kit is such a dog, it sucked the life out out me. I've yet to finish a base for it as it's going in an in-flight diorama.
