Popular Post Einar
After having read the fantastic book "BOAC and the golden age of flying" by Malcolm Turner I decided to build the Boeing 707 and the VickersSuper VC10 of BOAC in the Speedbird livery (IMHO the most elegant airline scheme of all times) The 707 is an Authentic Airliners kit in 1/144 scale and with 26Decals. The VC10 is a Roden kit with 26Decals. 76

Abandoned Project
Had to spend a few minutes finding the words to say without going into a double entendre, but I did. That is 2 lovely airliners in one of the best liveries IMO.

JohnT
One word describes them. Elegance. I can almost see Audrey Hepburn coming down the front steps. Two stunning lovely models. And that old BOAC livery oozes class

cngaero
Two truly elegant ladies indeed. There's just that little something special about that BOAC scheme. So very nostalgic. Thank you for sharing them.

busnproplinerfan
They sure look great. To bad these were before my time, would love to have see them in service. I guess the AA 7oh7 is far superior to kit ones?

You're quite right, the 707 is quite superior to the kit ones. 9 hours ago, manuel said: Smart. Thank you!

I only saw two 707s in service out here, a Pan Am one and the one of the air force CC-137s just before they were retired. I also didn't get out much.

ColinChipmunkfan
Beautiful models, and yes it is hard to thinks of a better colour scheme. Just goes to show that change is not necessarily progress. Colin
