JOCKNEY
Here's my place setter for this GB The Novo boxing of Frogs 1/72 Miles Master Fortunately I have alternative decals as the existing one are likely for display purposes only, not looking forward to doing all that yellow ! Cheers Pat
rob Lyttle
Good one, Pat. Looks like I've just "won" a couple of Novo Frogs.... Miles Magister and a Percival Proctor. Some of them have a dubious reputation....! 😳 There's got to be some nice civil options for these
JOCKNEY
Hi Rob The kits build really well, just the Novo decals are an issue. I was going to build a Novo Magister as well but can't find it, I bet it turns up at the end of the GB when there is no longer enough time to build it ! I bought an after market set of decals which has the Master, Hotspur and Magister on them, I can't remember the maker sorry. As you say civil options must be available. Best of luck Cheers Pat

Marklo
The Irish Aer Corp flew the Master. Dark green/Dark green and light blue not a bit of yellow to be seen
Adrian Hills
Pat, good subject. It might amuse you that I made this kit once but converted it into the Miles M24 - a prototype ‘panic’ fighter. Whatever you do don’t do the same as it won’t be eligible 🤪

Dark green/Dark green and light blue not a bit of yellow to be seen Nice but they were Master II’s which had the Bristol Mercury XX engine. The Frog / Novo kit is of the Master III which has the Pratt and Whitney Twin Wasp Junior engine so you’d at least have to do an engine and cowling transplant (probably from a Blenheim?). Will be watching your progress Pat especially after seeing Adrian’s stunning effort a year or two or three ago.

So having painted the interior and the crew, I now realise I'm going to have to add an instrument panel to the cavernous interior. JOCKNEY
A bit of help required please Does the oblong part that has the exhausts in fit, tight up to the back of the engine housing, see below Or tight up against the underside of the wings, see below or somewhere in the middle ? I'm sure @AdrianMF built one of these a while back but I can't find the WIP. Any help appreciated cheers Pat

zebra
Looking good Pat - and bringing back memories for two reasons: First because I remember building a Novo Master when I was a kid, and secondly because (judging from the spoon in the photo you posted on Wednesday) back then we had the same cutlery as you!

John
I remember getting the FROG kit from a shop in Callendar when I was a kid. I remember the plastic being light grey rather than my pal's yellow one. It's an impressively large model. John
