ReccePhreak
I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere, my "search" failed to turn up anything. I just noticed some Kits' World 1/48 3D printed seat belts for Luftwaffe & USAAF fighters. Has anybody had any experience with them? Are they easy to use? It looks like you can do 2 A/C with one set, correct? I am thinking of trying a set of each, to see how they compare to Eduard's PE seatbelts, including their "Steel" ones. 825
I used the 1/72 ones for a Seafire this morning, I didn't use all the belts just a couple of lap belts and a set of shoulder straps. They come off after 5-10 seconds and are a bit thicker than your usual decal. A little bit of poking around with a damp brush got them into place. They do adhere ok but I'd to use some Kleer to fix one of the lap belts. Also if you use the tip of a scalpel to move them or put a bit of pressure they want to stick. Overall I found them a lot easier than etched seat belts.
