Hello all.

In my nearly fifty years of building model aircraft, strangely I've never built a Beaufighter, something that I have now corrected.

This is the newish release from Airfix, everything fits together nicely apart from the cowling/engine assemblies which were a bit over engineered in my opinion,

this made them a bit of fiddle to get right.

Built oob apart from some Tamiya tape seat belts and a little scratch building of control levers in the cockpit.

Painted with MRP lacquers, W&N oils for the wash, pastel chalks for weathering and stains.

Thanks for looking

As a Canadian, commenting on a model in the markings of a WW2 RCAF aircraft, all I can say is:

You used my response, Chris! Yes, that is a beauty of a Beau - great job on it!

Beautifully built Beaufighter

Having restored a Revell(Matchbox) Beaufighter, I can appreciate the work you’ve done to this beauty.
