Tamiya Focke Wulf Fw 190A-8 1:48.

Refurbish the breed !

This one here got wash with my new Flory washes, a new antenna wire, partly new decals which makes it to a squadron aircraft of 6./JG1, Störmede, Germany 1944.

The kit was build and painted with Modelmaster paints some ten years back.

It seems that the few touch ups really worked as it's looking really good. Great camo job and mottling!

Thank you. The refurb added indeed a lot to the look of this build.

The Model Master enamels were really good but nowadays impossible to get here.

That's really nice, I like the camo ripple effect you achieved on the wing leading edge. Very well done!

Thank you very much.

The paint job was done with a Badger 150 freehand. The spray gun and the Model Master enamels worked really well together.

Very nicely revived.👍

Thank you. I was never really happy with the first take on it.

The Flory wash worked very well on it.

A beautiful build and lovely job on the mottling !

Wulfman

Thank you.

As noted above the combination of my Badger 150 and the Model Master enamels worked together really fine back in the days.

My ancient Revell compressor has only two settings:

1.) on 💪

2.) off 😧

Not too bad after all :)
