Revell Jaguar E-type in 1/24 scale

Recommended Posts

This is my latest build, the Revell Jaguar. I chose to paint the beauty with Tamiya British green, TS-9. The quality of the kit was excellent and I especially liked the new multicolour instruction sheet with very detailed and clear pictures. spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

Excellent build!! Thank you for stating the quality of the kit as I have been wondering how well it went together since it's release. I would love to see someone produce a full PE set for this along with wire wheels and aluminum barrels.

Thank you for the positive comments! I'm quite sure there will be a lot of after market stuff to make the kit even more detailed.

Really nice work Einar. And colour is really good!

Thanks Vesa!

Tamiya TS-9 was a very good alternative for British racing green.

I have always had a soft spot for red (I know this one's green!). There's an immaculate example in red, in our village.

Cheers,

Alan.

You're quite right. The red one looks fabulous..but I prefer the green one 🙂

Beautiful job on what looks like a much nicer XKE kit than what’s been out here for 50 yrs. Really looking forward to the roadster version that is scheduled to be released soon. Wife wants me to build her one in red.

Thank you John,

When the roadster is released, I,'ll buy one and paint it red :)

So will this then be car of Jerry Cotton?

Yes Vesa,  it will be the car of Jerry Cotton, "the red tin plated devil" as it's called in the Finnish JC booklets:)
