BA Landor 747 26Decals

Didn't wasn't to start a new thread but couldn't find one suitable, currently the 26decal sheet for the 747-100/200 in British Airways Landor is out of print and sold out but the ones for the 747-400 Retro are available, is it possible to use them on the earlier models with the right registration edits? Or will I have to wait till 26decals reprint the earlier sheet?  Could be all moot if 26 reprint it in the net couple of months but always good to have options

You could drop a note to Ray to see if he has plans for another print run. His screen-printed decals tend to come and go. I notice he has just re-issued several screen-printed Lufthansa sheets which were unavailable for a while.

The -400 sheet contains 34 named and 4 unnamed registrations. I'm with @Skodadriver

Drop Ray an email and ask if the -400 sheet can be used for a -100 or -200 747, given the number of registrations included, I would say that there is a good chance that it will.

Hope he won’t mind but I have been in contact with Ray, and a reprint is not on the cards until the market changes, and the Retro sheet is not suitable for a 200 as the titles are not the same size. A shame and means I’ll either have to put my build into the stash for the long term, switch to doing a Negus one or a third option that may become possible if the eBay deity’s are with me, or see as Neil says if Joydecals do indeed have any left and pay the arm, leg and kidney shipping cost

I’m doing a 200 series and both of them are 100 only, and same shipping price issue. Looks like it will have to be the Negus ones from 26decals, shame as I bulk ordered some BA Pearl Grey or change my mind about doing an old one and buy the Revell -8

You may already know this - but it's something else to note:

 

The -100s had P&W engines, where as (most, if not all) the -200s had RR engines!

I did indeed, anyway in the end I have ordered the set from Joydecals, the dollar exhange rate isn't as bad as I thought it was and once paint is added its not that much cheaper to do Negus one anyway.  Glad I didn't wait, last one they had
