One was the MFF variant of the MkII armed with two Vickers machine guns. This was widely used by South African forces and was the main Armour in the East African campaign. The only difference is the instructions show a different mantlet and gun in the turret and the Vickers that points out the side. And a different little transfer sheet. 825 Posted April 2, 2021 Author Share Posted April 2, 2021 Having been forewarned by my existing build assembly has been quite quick, the lower and upper hull both assembled More pieces put on to the upperworks and springs and axles on. Turret completed and popped on for the moment. Underside complete and once again plastic rod used to replace the too short prop shafts. Upperworks added to lower hull and turret popped on. Almost ready for some paint. There's a little bit of filler needed to smooth out the joins but that won't be too much and won't delay things too much. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Martin It was a common AC in British and Commonwealth forces particularly in the early parts of WW2. Widely used in the Balkans, East and North Africa. Looking forward to your finished piece! Thanks John, it builds quite well and certainly looks good. The wheels are now on as as well as the transfers. To Ben honest there are only 4 transfers and they're all the same so didn't take long. I did put a smear of Kleer on the surfaces where the transfers were to go to minimise silvering.
