I see you decided not to paint the canopy frames on the 109.

I don't blame you, it's a daunting task.

I still put it off until the last possible moment (but before attaching it to the airframe).

There are a hundred ways of tackling it, have a look n here for advice, but have a go, it makes a big impact.

Well done re these two icons. As Fat Fly Half mentioned, the 109 would benefit from having the canopy frames painted.

I assume this is the Airfix kit and if I am correct, the canopy is extremely fragile (guess how I found this out..), so maybe leave it unpainted until you have gained experience with sturdier canopies.

I really like your take on both kits. I suspect Airfix have forgotten the third Gruppe symbol at the rear of the fuselage cross, but such is life.

 

Keep at it, and extremely well done!
