tonyot
Silver Beau,..... another one from the Australia/New Zealand GB,...... this 1/72nd Hasegawa Beaufighter Mk.21 has been built as A8-196, EH-D of 31 Sqn, RAAF, Morotai, 1945 using DK Decals, although the MPM boxing of the Hasegawa kit did include this scheme too. The model was painted using a Tamiya rattle can, the WIP is here; And the model; And here it is with some of my other Aussie Beau`s! Cheers Tony 64

billn53
Very nice! I’ve never considered the Beaufighter to be attractive, but I’ve changed my mind — It looks quite nice in silver.

I need to build an Aussie Mk.Ic in green and brown now to make a full set of `official' RAAF schemes,...... I only have one in 1/48th scale. Then there are the unofficial green and grey schemes too!! Rabbit Leader
Thats turned out beautifully Tony and makes a great contrast to the other three excellent Aussie Beau’s on display. She looks good in Silver, actually the Beaufighter tends to look good in any colour doesn’t it? Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
