This in particular is just beautiful. Even if you hadn’t just made it all by yourself. Which you did, which makes it even better.  I am in awe of how effortless  you’re making this look. 👏👏👏👏

soooo good.

And the last job was sticking on twelve exhaust stubs. I printed a decal with black discs to represent the holes in the cowling, then added a pile of these with canopy glue:

Paint exhausts next, then varnish and pics.

Well done Adrian, it's been a pleasure to follow, even for a non-aircraft person like me. Thanks for explaining your various techniques, very helpful.

I guess the RS4 was the RS3 modified to have the prone/photo nose. It's amazing that it is reportedly still in existence in a shed somewhere in Leicestershire.

And still flying

I wish I’d come across this earlier; but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading it from start to finish.  I’ll add my appreciation if I may: mightily impressive build Adrian, you somehow manage to make scratch-building look stress free! Wonderful model :D

Don't you believe it! Mind you, it's nice to know that if you have made a part, you can always make another one if it goes pear-shaped. The surprising and hard bit for me was not so much making the individual shapes, but getting the fuselage, nacelles and flying surfaces angled and aligned properly. A bit more planning next time, I think!

Regards,

Adrian

I spend a day away from Britmodeller and this build comes to an end. It been a great built with a great outcome. It has been a pleasure to watch and learn from.

The Bobsleigh looks like a great candidate for a encore.
