RidgeRunner
Hi all, A bit eleventh hour! Having been blindly following Airfix’s instructions I have now seen that many/all Frescos seem to have had a small pitot type protrusion on the nose, starboard side. It sits on the join where the upper cover joins. There is no part for this in the kit and the Bilek doesn’t show it either..... what was it and should there be one fitted? Thanks all. Wez
Yep, it's as Bosse says, some do and some don't have it, a quick check of my references shows that some Fresco A's had it too. It's really a case of finding a picture of your subject I'm afraid.

Marlin
Thank You Martin @RidgeRunner It seems that I'll have to add the pitot tube on my Algerian MiG as well. I hadn't spotted that before you asked on yours, so thanks for that. /Bosse
Marlin
@RidgeRunner Look Martin what I found on the Hobbyboss kit and instructions. 123 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I guess I've been blind.... Well at least it saves me from scratchbuilding something. /Bosse

Adam Poultney
I think Airfix likely just copied a museum example. It seems a few of their more recent kits are slightly let down by errors as a result of copying museum aircraft too closely. Even before release, the new Vulcan is known to have a few such flaws.
