Seamus Posted March 26, 2021 Share Posted March 26, 2021 Morning all, Rounding off my Century Series project is the 1/72 F-106A from Trumpeter. Overall a very nice kit with excellent fit, my only criticism being the location of the underwing joins not being along a panel line and passing through several smaller panels which made clean up a little awkward. This is built completely OOB using Hataka Orange Line and Alclad paints as always. The 106 and 102 were a couple of the nicest looking jets of all time in my opinion. Very sleek and purposeful. You've got a wonderful collection there to be proud of. Also a shining demonstration of how panel joints should be emphasised – i.e. lightly, almost invisibly, instead of the brash, blackish treatment that you sometimes see on otherwise excellent models!
