One more before RFI...the figure finally has arms! It took several attempts to get the right look and pose (particularly the left arm). I 'cheated' slightly by using the kit hands, but I cut of the fingers and thumbs and made new ones in green stuff/epoxy so they would 'grasp' the tie-down chains. In the photo I have added some extra green stuff to the junction of the arms and body, built up slightly to show the edge of the 'float coat' where it goes over the undershirt. I also bulked up the figure's midriff with more material to emphasise the baggy nature of the clothing. Since taking the photo I've blended in and smoothed the new material with PPP. The final position of the chains will be fixed after painting. Final steps are painting/weathering/blending the green areas, matt-coating the whole figure, adding the goggles and strap and fixing it to the base, should be done in the next few days hopefully.
