Hi All.

Here is another of my completed models this week.

It is the Eastern Express Boeing 747SP which went together really well after cleaning up the parts.

That looks amazing, it certainly does ‘scrub up’ well!
Kicking myself that I didn’t get hold of one when you were selling them earlier this year😞

That looks lovely. But the asking price for this kit at the moment is frankly outlandish.

I build NASA themed kits so I would like to build one as the NASA SOFIA flying observatory.

Thanks all for you kind words.

The kit did go together surprisingly well once all the parts were cleaned up and I can definitely recommend it.

On the the next build :)

If not for the paving I think I'd be hard pressed to tell that from the real thing. Top job.

Thank you, I really must get a larger base :)

It is lovely.

What base are you using? It looks really convincing.

The bases are from Coastal Kits.

Hi Ray,

Really love this one!

Beautiful finish, which NMF did you use for the engines?

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks all.

I used Halfords Ford Strato Silver for the NMF.

This is the second Eastern Express 747SP completed kit that I have observed on the website.  This kit looks like a pretty good quality kit.  In terms of detail, I think this kit gives the Authentic Airliners 747SP kit a competitive run - just my 2 cents.
