Googled Polish text:

Good evening,

Since the work on the 'seven-two' Falcon and C295 are still underway, we decided not to wait any longer with the third planned model (and basically models - all production versions) - PZL TS-8 Bies. I think every Polish aviation enthusiast knows this machine. It was the first after 1939 aircraft developed, designed and serially produced in Poland (so ' really ' serially ' - 243 Biesy were created). Also equipped with the engine of Polish construction and Polish production. In a word, TS-8 is asking for its plastic miniature. So far reduced 72 times, but... alright, that's on another occasion.

The first set presents the aircraft of the earliest production series (also known as ′′ news series ′′) made at WSK Okiecie (the next series of Bies were already from Mielce). In addition to plastic parts included, as usual phototraved elements and additional resin bomb launchers and photocarabin fairing. Plus two paint schemes. The planes from Ok ciacia from the later Mielec production differed that they had a steady jump B-3 propeller, a radio station's antenna mast installed on the wind and were armed with a wkm A-12,7. They could also take two 50 school bombs. kg on sub-wing launchers. We included all of these elements in the model.

That's it for tonight. More info soon (very soon ;)).

That's nice. I once had a resin kit of the same type. It was by Ardpol . The undercarriage was very delicate in resin and kept on breaking.  Hopefully this new kit will be a good replacement.

instead of the Yak-11.

Poland had both types. Nearly 140 Yak-11s (both Soviet and Czechoslovak production) were used by military between 1950 and 1962. The TS-8 Bies was the successor to the Yak-11 trainers and was used between 1958 and 1975.

Good evening,

The last few days we received a lot of questions about the tropical version of Biesa, which is the one that went to Indonesia. So yes, there will be an Indonesian TS-8. Moreover, it will soon hit the market with the first Polish one. The set includes all visible differences in relation to the version used in Poland (shooting weapons, photocarabin and above all two additional engine coverings, both different from 'national').

"We have the Bies finally, now we are working on the printing part (boxes, instructions, etc.). It's on the home straight (finally)."

The way I understand it is this: the parts are ready, the boxart too, what's left is to design the instructions, print them, print the boxes and then put everything together. I suppose it will go on sale in April-May.

Well... here is the screenshot of FB discussion with the owner of the Answer, taken from Modelwork (Polish forum). They are talking about the Bies in 1/72.

Translation:

- Bies will not be released for the time being.
- Why? After all, it was quite advanced.
- It had ended up in the bin. It could not be made again.
- A pity.
- A great pity. Perhaps we can make another attempt at some point.

Let me remind you of the history of the project according to a series of announcements - it was supposed to be released in May 2021, then there were some delays, then the moulds were to be destroyed at an unspecified place and at an unspecified time. Then it was to be made from scratch and in principle everything was almost ready, but again there were some delays, until finally it turns out that the moulds don't exist.

No, to szkoda.  That's too bad.  It helps us appreciate the risks involved with production of I-M models.  The fact any of them appears on the market, especially from a small producer, is a minor miracle.  The same deal applies with the abortive/aborted CN-295.  By its very nature, the C-295 was a complex project with numerous dependencies, the failure of any of which could doom its prospects.  In the end, it proved too much for Answer, whose biggest design to date is a medium-sized helicopter.

I'm afraid the biggest problem was not the various difficulties, but the company itself. Earlier Answer produced paper models and, well, it didn't have the best reputation both among modellers and retailers. The history of all information regarding the Bies kit shows quite a gap between announcements and facts.

We call that a "credibility gap."  It can be 100% fatal to a small startup, too.
