Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any drawings available for British 'dumb' bombs with dimensions with them ?, I'm just starting out dabbling in Fusion 360 and thought it'd be useful to model some of these up maybe with a view to 3d printing them in various scales.

TIA, Simon

Early CAD drafts using the VERY sparse details I could glean from various sources

Designed for 1/72 so some of the details are deliberatly  a little bit 'clunky' so they'll print out.

The tails look ok , the bomb picture is nothing like a british bomb being more akin to a US 750lb should look like this

That 4th drawing has the look of a bucket of sunshine to me ☀️

Indeed it is, I found some dimensioned sketches of 'Red Beard' on the internet

a little additional work needed based on the feedback above, but reasonably happy so far, Once I'm satisfied with everything and its as close as I feel I can get, I'll be happy to put up the STL files for download if anyone is interested in them.

Looks good. Are you considering 540 pounders? Asking for a friend...

If I can get dimensional data I'll be quite happy to

Looking very good!!

On a related note, whose paint does anyone use for deep bronze green?  I'm at a loss.  Thank you!

@sig226, these 540s are great; thanks for taking the time. Will you be selling or putting up the files?

I'll put up the files or rather a DB link so people can download them as they need
