sig226
Hi, Does anyone know if there are any drawings available for British 'dumb' bombs with dimensions with them ?, I'm just starting out dabbling in Fusion 360 and thought it'd be useful to model some of these up maybe with a view to 3d printing them in various scales. TIA, Simon
sig226
Early CAD drafts using the VERY sparse details I could glean from various sources 2021-04-03 (1) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 2021-04-03 (2) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 2021-04-03 (3) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 2021-04-03 (4) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 2021-04-03 by Simon Johanson, on Flickr Designed for 1/72 so some of the details are deliberatly a little bit 'clunky' so they'll print out.
Selwyn
The tails look ok , the bomb picture is nothing like a british bomb being more akin to a US 750lb should look like this Selwyn

sig226
Did a few test prints of the files 3dPrints (7 of 7) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr BL755 3dPrints (6 of 7) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr Different Versions of the same tail 3dPrints (5 of 7) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 3dPrints (4 of 7) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr 3dPrints (3 of 7) by Simon Johanson, on Flickr a little additional work needed based on the feedback above, but reasonably happy so far, Once I'm satisfied with everything and its as close as I feel I can get, I'll be happy to put up the STL files for download if anyone is interested in them.
