alanbeeb
The last armour model I made was in the 1980s when I was in my teens. Wanted to try my hand in again so chose Tamiya's cheap original Panther A as a tryout. Very simple construction, the major thing for me was that this is first time I've painted camouflage with an airbrush. Lots to learn, I know the tracks are wrong, and there's a bit of silvering on one of the decals...but as a returnee I'm quite pleased with it! I didn't bother with the supplied crew figures as they were a bit caricature. Next up will be an M-26 Pershing so I can re-enact February 1945 on the living room floor. Bullbasket
But you haven't lost your touch though. Nice work on the Panther. John.
FrancisGL
Hi Alan, It is always nice to see an old school modeller who "re-engages" ..., like me, you have been wise to choose a simple and cheap kit to start with, I had a very large stash of them for more than 20 years waiting ... lol. Cheers and TC Francis.👍
Pig of the Week
Top job sir !.. I also "returned from the dead" as it were, and jumped straight back into German WW2 kit, the old Tamiya stuff still makes up into a v nice model.

Ernst
Your skills clearly haven't rusted as mentioned before. Great way to get back into the hobby, and an impressive first airbrush job. I like the green colour, it's a beautiful tint. Cheers, Ernst
Andy J
Nice work Alan looks good to me. I have a soft spot for the old classic Tamiya kits and plan to build more in the future 👍
Simon Dyer
Great build Alan and great airbrushing. Yesterday I received the same kit, have done quite a bit of 1/35 but not ever a tank. Its a wee bit down the line yet but if it turns out half as good as yours I will be really chuffed. Si
