Navy Bird
Great stuff Tony, and an informative back story. Whereas I measure my productivity on the basis of how many models I build in a year, Tony looks at how many he builds in a day. Cheers, Bill
112 Squadron
A beautiful model of a post war Avenger and a very interesting story about its use by the RNZAF. 👍 I like the way how you are researching all your projects Tony.
kapam
An excellent and very distinctive Avenger, especially in that scheme. Love the panel lines and the subtle weathering all-round. I wonder if you have any comments or tips about the Hasegawa kit (as I have one in my stash).

Thanks mate,..... no tip really about the Avenger,.... it is a relatively simple kit and fits like a dream. The seating position behind the pilot should only really be there on the early TBF-1 and with Fleet Air Arm aircraft,..... standard TBF-1C bombers had the radio batteries installed here and the navigator/bomn aimer occupied the rear fuselage position behind the turret. 10 hours ago, Wulfman said: Beautiful looking Avenger, great work ! woody37
I've never seen one in this scheme before, everyday is a learning! Superb as always and you keep managing to show us the lesser known schemes on your builds
