Sopwith 5F.1 Dolphin

Hallo

Now I finished my Dolphin. The rigging was unspectacular.

One of the holes in the struts to get the struts rigged, vanished due to plastic glue. But in general nice built.

Next will be the DH 9a from WNW.

Nice, clean work. A lot of people find the Dolphin ugly, but I have always liked it. Amazing how half the kit is in the cockpit and you can’t see it!

This is very nice and and infrequently seen Sopwith.  I have on in my stash in 1/48 and I need to take it out and check the markings it has available.  I had put it off as PC-10 is not an inspiring color to me but your choice with what looks like a blue fuselage looks wonderful. Nice job on the rigging you have done.

 

Ok, I was looking at this outside and I guess it is mostly PC-10 but greener than I thought.  But the cowling has the blue tint which confused me.  I think I will give this a shot as it is a plane that deserves to be built.

That was a nice kit from WNW and seem to remember (when I built it) a pretty straightforward build.
