keiron99
I got some Vallejo 73.214 chipping medium to experiment with. Does anyone know how to use it? It's incredibly thick. It doesn't even say on the bottle whether it's intended for airbrush use, I tried spraying and it comes out like a spider web. Yet it even does that after thinning (I tried Vallejo thinners and water). Anyone got any tips on how to use it? Thanks
keiron99
Been experimenting further with this. Still no joy. Additionally, I have discovered that when you lay the paint on top (Vallejo Air), it dries patchy. The chipping effect you can create is very good, but there just seem to be too many compromises in my experience.
Arthur Miggins
I have used it a couple of times. I just brushed it on. First time I have used anything like this and was quite impressed with the results
keiron99
I've tried brushing but still with the same outcome. Even after 3 layers of paint, it's patchy. It has the appearance of peeling, sunburned skin. Edited March 19, 2021 by keiron99 .
