AntPhillips
As most of the sprues are just marked A-10 and only Sprue G is marked for and contains the A-10C specific parts, could be we'll see an A-10A issued at some point too

Shaun
Looks like they have thought this kit out, Hobby boss made loads of small errors. Great idea with the detailed rear underside and the pylons...
Homebee
Several dedicated sets are already in the Wolfpack Design pipe line. Including engine air intakes and exhausts ! spruecutter96
After watching the video, I would say this is miles ahead of any of the previous versions of the A-10... Now nice, kind, noble Mr. Academy, sir.... can you PLEASE produce a version in 1/32nd? Cheers. Chris. PS: Your own, mint-moulded version - NOT a Trumpeter re-box. I totally agree with you I found even better close up video here Raised rivets? Appropriate for under belly? Yes, I saw the real pictures but they look like old Airfix? (Not an A-10 experten). JeffreyK
DEF Model is faster though... No association with DEF Model, just think the "first guy" deserves some credit as well J

keithjs
Very nice and at least they address the issue of the fan blades being too far forward. Only thing is I can’t see where to get them from? The seat is a bit nice too!?
gavingav1
i predict we will shortly see a mass listing on ebay of hobbyboss, Italeri, monogram and tamiya A-10's . Edited December 31, 2022 by gavingav1 2
tony.t
Very nice. Will wait for the A-10A to do a tusked example from Barksdale, and swap out the ECM pods with the Meng F-4G. Agree that this would be extra tasty in 1/32, but she's still a good size in 1/48 — and it's probably the right scale for a Warthog. The nose part is missing from the sprue shots. dreamwriter
So,its a new tooling, its not even out yet, no indication of final shop price, and already we know that we'll need to spend more money to get it right? Sorry, not for me. It doesn't even make sense that a NEW tooling needs aftermarket parts on such an important area of the model,to look right. I'll wait for the GWH tooling, hoping it will be correct, even if pricier than the Academy. If not, then both brands such really evaluate their design teams and correct things.
IT_Man
Can't speak for your locale, but in the UK, shop price (RRP) is £39.99. I'm getting mine from here - currently £34.99. I'll be collecting in person, so no shipping https://www.models2u.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p17088_A-10-C-Thunderbolt-II.html (Though agree on your point with such issues noted in brand new toolings) Edited January 1 by IT_Man

Porkbits
Nice sets (fact aside that they shouldn't be needed to begin with). Which begs the question....is the actual kit available yet? Haven't seen anything online....
