Dave Thank you Dave. If the parts layout is an accurate indicator it seems both the rear fuselage and also the engine pod are large single pieces that must make use of complex multi-part molds - now I'm keen to see how well these work

tony.t
What a warty little thing it is! Another 1/48 creation to disrupt my 1/32 schedule! Glad it has got a Pave Penny pod as I'm more interested in a ca.1991 A-10A, but a C would be cool too. Thanks for posting the hardware pics. Tony Edited November 21, 2022 by tony.t it does indeed have the PP pod, so backdating the kit means an earlier IP and vetting the antennae

However I'm sure that there will be spectacular 3D aftermarket to make this area shine! They can make a drop fit replacement to fit into the very nice slide molded nacelles! This kit is on my wishlist Bbbbbrrrrr! Take that! Ruskie made tanks! tony.t
So, new inlets needed then. That seems to be a common requirement for A-10 kits. The MLG hubs might need to be bigger as well, but that's possibly just an unflattering paint job with shoeshine black rims. Overall, looks quite nice: something one can actually enjoy building. IT_Man
On Hannants and elsewhere for PreOrder, UK RRP £39.99, so a touch more than HobbyBoss and a bit less than Italeri, for comparison.
Shaun
Love the raised rivit rear fuselarge parts, a real obvious detail of the real A-10. Hopefully the nose profile is better than the Hobby Boss and the terrible Italeri attempt.
Masinissa
I'll wait to see what aftermarket can address the shape of the intakes and the whole fan assembly before I take the plunge. 3D printing works wonders now!

GWH kits are generally on a higher price level and I don't think they will be had for 40Quid but corrected engines may put you in the GWH price range already...
