MENG 1/35 Char 2C - so big you could do a diorama on the roof?

I was thinking that. We are often a bit dismissive of these vehicles and the almost religious fervour people had for them. Then again I’ve been around armoured vehicles for years and I still find large tanks awesome (in the literal sense). We should perhaps be more forgiving of the awe they inspired in our predecessors.

The WWI display at Bovington conveys a little of this with the early tanks rolling up to a trench. Must have been terrifying to meet these seemingly unstoppable machines for the first time; especially when they were behaving so aggressively.
