Andy J
So armour build number 9 is complete and I'm very happy with the way this one has turned out. The kit dates back to 1974 so doesn't have the quality that is available nowadays however I have a soft spot for these classic kits and intend to build a few more in the future. I did have an issue with the tracks and sprockets supplied with the kit but a kind donation of spare parts from @M3talpig allowed me to finish off the build thanks Steve much appreciated 👍. Here's some pic's of the finished build The last pic shows the M3 Lee alongside the Sherman i built a while ago. It's an interesting comparison i think 🤔 So now it's time to move onto the Pzr III GB I think it's about time I started work on this project 🙂. Thanks to everyone who followed the build I appreciate your interest and comments back soon 🙂👍 36

Dads203
That’s lovely Andy, it’s amazing how these older Tamiya kits scrub up with a top notch paint job. One to be proud of fella

Ernst
Great model Andy, I love different shades within the model and between the models. I especially like the paintjob on the tracks 👍, Cheers, Ernst.

APA
Really nice build indeed. Love the colour. The sheen is very realistic as well as the weathering. But what stands out is the crispness to it. Well done Andrew

Jasper dog
It's already been said but just shows what can be achieved with an old kit given a great paint job. Turned out really well Andy. 👍 Still like your Meng M4 too btw. Atb
keefr22
That old thing scrubbed up beautifully Andy, another absolute cracker off your workbench! And it looks great alongside the Sherman! Top job my friend! Keith

Bullbasket
You've done a superb job there Andy, and in such a short time. The kit may have some faults, but it still looks like a Lee to me. Nice one. John.
