G'day Gentlemen!

I am currently building a 1:48 Tamiya Mosquito. I purchased An Extradecal sheet and intended to build SEAC one (HR399)  in Dark earth-dark green clothes.

I have 2 issues to be solved.

1- What sort propellers used that bird? Wide or narrow one? ( forgive me for my ignorance I am sure they have proper brand names; rotol, curtiss etc)

2- Has HR399 carried with strips under wings?

I will be pleased if some may enlight me.

Best wishes from Turkey.

Just having a quick look at this and the change of prop happen around mid way in the HR production block which went from 113 to 649 so HR399 is very close to the middle of that block. I believe that some earlier airframes were also retro fitted with the paddle blade props so without an appropriate pictures it might be best guess time.

I'm unaware of anyone doing them in 48th - not my scale - but cut down and reworked Hurricane Vokes filters may do the trick.

Paragon did, but  long OOP:(
