This AAWS was designed in USSR in 1964. The Soviet AAWS is intended to cover ground forces, destroy air targets at ranges up to 2500 m and at altitudes up to 1500 m from a standstill, with a short stop and in motion flying at speeds up to 1600 km / h. Armed with a 23mm 4-barreled charger. Rate of fire - 3400 rounds per minute. It aims at the target both manually and in semi-automatic and automatic modes. In the Soviet Army, she was part of the air defense units of the ground forces. Its modernized modification is currently in use.
