Kit: Italeri 1/72 F-4 C/D/J Phantom II Aces (#1373) Scale: 1/72 Paints: Vallejo Model Air, Vallejo Metal Colour Aftermarket: Hasegawa Sidewinders Weathering: Flory Models Wash, Oil paints The old ESCI kit was a positive surprise, rather nice to put together and ended up looking like a Phantom, more or less. Built for Vietnam GB - but missed the deadline. Partial WIP thread can be found here: 66
TonyOD
I'm no expert, but it looks a lot like a Phantom to me! Great job.
binbrook87
Fantastic! Very nicely finished indeed. I've just got this kit nearing completion myself and am also pleasantly surprised how nice it is despite its old ESCI lineage. Hope mine turns out half as nice as yours 👍
Booty003
Phantastic....!!! Great work on the paint - looks great. What colour did you use for the tan?

I used the Vallejo suggested paints for this build - which for the tan is 71.125 USAF Brown.
Navy Bird
The old ESCI kit was a gem, and still builds up into a sweet little replica. You've done the old gal justice - great job! Cheers, Bill

Harry Callahan
Even 1/72 is not my fighter scale ( but cargo planes ) i must praise you for your outstanding work. It seems the 1/72 one is better than the 1/48 from Esci. Well done Reini.

Duncan B
That's a little beauty, looks like you're about to have an incident with the fwd port Sparrow though. Those Armourers haven't hooked it up correctly lol. Duncan B
