Top 5 kits you'd buy.. if only you could find them.

An accurate Ford Sierra Cosworth and/or Cosworth 500, preferable with road and Group A (race and rally) options. The Tamiya tool is somewhat bull bonneted to my eyes.

An Opel Ascona 400. Belkits, are you listening since you already do a Manta 400?

An Opel Manta 400 with a works "Mans Roth" (deliberate, and done by Italeri on the Ford Escort RS1800 so I know it's legal) scheme (or a "Racing" version subject to event). Again, are Belkits listening?

A Vauxhall Chevette HSR, ideally in a Jimmy McRae or Pentti Airikkala scheme.

A Jaguar D Type, preferably in Ecurie Ecosse colours. Hmmm; Revell have done a decent XKSS.

Tamiya 1/24 Peugeot 205 T16 Rally

Tamiya 1/24 Volvo 850 Estate BTCC

Tamiya 1/12 FW14B

Tamiya 1/12 MP4/6

Wish Tamiya would reissue their 1/12 series of F1 kits...

Looks as if they are about to send outthe Brabham anytime soon..

Considering how difficult it is to obtain kits here:

1. Tamiya's 1/24 DBS V12
2. Fujimi's 1/24 430 Scuderia
3. Fujimi's 1/24 911 G-body/930 Turbos
4. Tamiya's 1/24 NC1 NSX

5. Tamiya's 1/24 LFA

And no, importing by myself is out of question because Indonesian government imposes something between 15-30% VAT on goods that costs more than $3.

A bit of a different slant - as I don't do cars - but - if they were available...

Basic Mini Metro

Ford Escort MkIII

Standard Vauxhall Cavalier

Saab 93 - either hatch or aerodeck

Audi A6 - either estate or saloon

...any scale too - just 5 of the 14 cars I've either owned or had as company cars - I'd love to build any of them.

Many of them have been reissued within the last decade, some very recently. Eg McLaren  Brabham BT44 Renault Re30 (now Italeri), Lotus 49 & 72, Matra (just last year), Ferrari 312B, Tyrrell P34, Honda RA273. About the only ones not re-released so far are the Ferrari 641, and Lotus 78.

the only problem is they are , of course, limited reissues - so you get approx 3 months to realise they are out there before they disappear again.

Nissan R380 or Toyota 7; both done recently in 1/24 resin but I can't find a mention of either and aside from a brief foray onto eBay (at very high prices) a few years ago, no trace since!

EDIT: the Toyota 7 was by Q-Model but apart from some ancient kits of the Nissan R380, I can't find who made the 'recent' (last two decades) kit of that.

Suffice to say both are still a bit on the 'hen's teeth' side.

My list I would like to see but probably couldn't afford If they exist would be all the cars are ones that I've owned except the passion wagon consul with bench seats 😁😁 my dad's car, a few memories in that... Ahem.

1. Ford Consul 375 with column gear change (passed my test in one 1968).

2; Morris Minor

3;  Mk 1 Ford Cortina

4;  Hillman Superminx

5;  Mk 5 Cortina

6;  Volvo 340

7; Volvo 740

8; Toyota Carina executive {my favourite)

Other 3 are available but in rally car format.

The first 3 I can do you...

Revell Cadet series Consul MkII,  Morris 1000 Traveller and the Airfix Cortina.

Also have the Volvo 760 kit with the inline engine, which I understand Italeri have just re released.

I had the Frog Cortina way back as a kid as a Christmas present.
Long gone unfortunately.
I still had one of the hub-caps in my spares box until relatively recently...

A fairly simple kit, if I recall...

Cheers,

Alan.

I have one of those as well. I need to butcher it into a 2 door.

Wouldn'yt you be better off flogging it and get a couple of 1/24 resin kits instead....??!! 🤣

This is something. But I think we will not see these easily. Also Cunningham C4R would be nice to have.

C4RK for me: something in 1/24 and made of a dense material.

Not being a car modeller (unless they are full scale...) but:

- the Revell Morris Minor Traveller (in addition to the full size thing...)

- Doyusha Aston Martin DB5 007 version (!) (sadly no such full size thing around...)

A wish list would be somewhat longer though.
