1/48 Revell Tornado GR.1 "Foxy Killer"

Recommended Posts

Finished a few days ago :)

I've used original Revell GR.4 boxing with some goodies from Eduard, Aires, Quickboost and myself :)

- Eduard PE sets - interier, exterier, gearbays

- Eduard brassin seats

- Eduard brassin Paveway II bombs and Sidewinders

- Eduard BOZ and SkyShadow pods

- Eduard decals

- Aires cockpit - AIR4800 IDS early modified to GR.1

- Aires exhaust

- Quickboost canon barels

- Reskit wheels

- selfdesigned 3D printed outer wing pylons, fuselage pylons, landing lights a crew ladder

- selfdesigned mission marks decal and modified Foxy Killer markings (Eduard one has black outline which I do not like...)

- selfdesigned masked and airbrushed sharkmouth

Overall paint is a 3:1 mix of MrPaint 243 and 396. Hindenburgs are painted pure 243.

That is absolutely awesome! A single colour aircraft is not easy to pull off and make interesting but the combination of your paintwork and weathering has really made it come alive. Great job....and i agree with the comments above....one of the best Tornado models I've seen 👍👍

Nothing special :) just a few hours to draw and then waiting for a printed result... :D

Here are all 3D goodies I've made for my Tornado :)

SO good to see a realistic finish on one of these Gulf War subjects. Very hard to get right but you absolutely nailed it.

Excellent work.

Very nicely done. The way you've replicated how the 'pink' paint wore off round the canopy with time is spot on.
